Tragic Collision on Agra-Lucknow Expressway: Police Officer Dies, Six Injured

A fatal accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway claimed the life of a 35-year-old police officer and left six others injured when a speeding police car collided with a private bus early on Friday.
Sub Inspector Manjeet Singh, a native of Lucknow, died instantly in the collision near kilometre marker 238 in the Bangarmau Police Station region. The police team was returning to Amethi with a recovered missing girl when the tragic incident occurred.
Officials reported that Head Constable Pradeep Tiwari, among the seriously injured, was transferred to Hallet Hospital in Kanpur. The collision's impact was so severe that rescuers struggled for over 30 minutes to extricate Singh's body from the wreck. Meanwhile, the bus passengers were safely evacuated, and the bus cleaner was detained for questioning.
