Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was subjected to more than three hours of interrogation by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) on Friday. The inquiry pertained to an alleged corruption case concerning the construction of classrooms in government schools, according to officials.
The summons also involved AAP's Satyendar Jain, with investigations revolving around purported irregularities in classroom construction costs in Delhi schools. Madhur Verma, Joint Commissioner of Police, ACB, confirmed that Sisodia presented himself at 11 am for the questioning.
Despite the ongoing investigation, Sisodia dismissed the allegations as politically driven accusations aimed at detracting from significant issues, maintaining that no substantial evidence exists against him. AAP leaders criticized the BJP for over 200 alleged false cases against them, reflecting a pattern of political vendetta.
