China, Pakistan, and Bangladesh have embarked on a new journey of trilateral cooperation, agreeing to strengthen their ties based on mutual trust and good-neighbourliness. The inaugural meeting was held in Kunming, coinciding with China's annual South Asia expo, and featured discussions on regional stability and prosperity.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong, along with Bangladeshi and Pakistani officials, highlighted the importance of this collaboration for the three nations. The discussions aim to enhance cooperation in fields like industry, trade, maritime affairs, and culture, aligning with their shared interests and aspirations for people-centric development.
