Novo Nordisk Ends Partnership with Hims & Hers Over Wegovy Sales
Novo Nordisk has decided to terminate its partnership with Hims & Hers Health concerning the sale of the weight loss drug Wegovy. Originally announced in April, the collaboration allowed Hims & Hers to sell the drug through their telehealth platform. Direct access will now be discontinued.
In a strategic move, Novo Nordisk announced on Monday that it will be halting its collaboration with Hims & Hers Health, which involved the sale of the weight loss drug Wegovy.
The two companies had initiated this partnership in April, allowing the telehealth firm Hims & Hers to offer Wegovy through a bundled package on their platform.
Novo Nordisk confirmed that moving forward, direct access to the popular weight loss medication will be restricted, as it will no longer be available through the NovoCare Pharmacy to Hims & Hers Health.
