Odisha Governor Advocates Boost in Social Scheme Enrollments

At an awareness program on social security schemes held at Raj Bhavan, Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati voiced concerns over the low enrollment rate among citizens in government-backed welfare schemes.

To tackle this issue, the governor initiated a special drive, enrolling Raj Bhavan officials and staff into these schemes, aiming to set a precedent and inspire broader public participation across the state.

The governor highlighted flagship initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana, calling for awareness campaigns in educational institutions.
