In a shocking incident, three Assam Police personnel were injured during a grenade attack on a CRPF camp in Golaghat district's Bokakhat area. The assailants, mounted on a motorcycle, lobbed the grenade at the camp situated in the Sapguri region.
The injured officers were immediately taken to Swahid Kamala Miri Civil Hospital in Bokakhat for treatment, where they were reported to be in a stable condition. Authorities are now investigating the attack from various perspectives, including potential involvement from extremists, poachers, or other miscreants.
Agriculture Minister Atul Bora visited the hospital to check on the injured personnel and condemned the attack, firmly stating that violence has no place in society and expressing the government's commitment to restoring peace in the area.
