In a chilling incident in Manipur, unidentified gunmen struck at Manipur's Churachandpur district on Monday, leaving four individuals, including a 60-year-old woman, dead. The tragic ambush unfolded near Mongjang village at approximately 2 p.m., according to police reports.
The victims were traveling in a car when they were gunned down at point-blank range, a police officer revealed. Mongjang is located around 7 kilometers from the Churachandpur town center. As the situation unfolds, authorities have not yet confirmed the identities of those killed.
Despite the recovery of over 12 empty shells at the scene, no organization has come forward to claim responsibility for this shocking attack. In response, police and additional security forces have been dispatched to the area to ensure safety and investigate the crime.
