The family of 29-year-old Ajithkumar, an alleged victim of police custody abuse, has approached the Madras High Court demanding the registration of a murder case against the officers involved.
During a hearing on Tuesday, the family urged the court to issue a Writ of Mandamus or a similar directive to compel state authorities, including the Tamil Nadu Home Secretary and the Director General of Police, to act on the mother's complaint.
