In a shocking incident in southeast Delhi's Lajpat Nagar, a woman and her teenage son were found dead, allegedly murdered by their domestic help, Mukesh. The double murder was uncovered after a distress call from the victims' husband, Kuldeep Sewani, reporting bloodstains and unresponsive family members.
Upon receiving the call, police swiftly responded to the scene, forcibly entering the home to discover the tragic sight: Ruchika, aged 42, lay lifeless in the bedroom, while her 14-year-old son was found dead in the bathroom. Kuldeep and Ruchika managed a garment shop in the local market, and their son was a tenth-grade student.
The main suspect, Mukesh, who was employed by the family both at their shop and as a driver, fled but was intercepted by Uttar Pradesh Police. He was captured at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction. Officials are currently investigating the motive behind this gruesome act.
