Tragic End in Barpeta: Kidnapped Girl Found Buried

In a shocking incident in Assam's Barpeta district, an eight-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and killed, with her body subsequently found buried in the accused's house, according to police reports on Thursday.

The girl was reportedly taken from her home on a Sunday, with the kidnappers sending a ransom demand for Rs 1 lakh to her family. The police initiated an investigation, leading to the arrest of the prime suspect and two accomplices who confessed to the crime, a senior police official stated.
