Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed profound shock over the tragic loss of life following an aircraft crash in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The accident claimed the lives of at least 19 individuals, primarily children, and left dozens more injured.
In a message of solidarity, Modi conveyed India's readiness to offer comprehensive support to Bangladesh during this difficult time. The accident occurred when a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft, a Chinese-made F-7 BGI, crashed into the Milestone School and College campus in Dhaka's Uttara area shortly after takeoff.
Modi extended his condolences to the bereaved families on social media platform X, saying, 'Deeply shocked and saddened at the loss of lives, many of them young students, in a tragic air crash in Dhaka. Our hearts go out to the bereaved families.' Efforts continue to aid those injured in the incident.
