Government authorities plan to press automakers into conducting thorough tests and verifications of their driving assistance technologies. The initiative aims to prevent potential mishaps by ensuring these systems are reliable and effective.
Wang Qiang, an official with the public security ministry, emphasized the importance of clearly defining the boundaries and security protocols of assisted driving systems at a recent press conference.
