In a decisive move against wildlife smuggling, the Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Police has seized a leopard skin and arrested two suspects on Thursday.

Following a critical tip-off, authorities conducted a raid along New Infovalley Road, resulting in the capture of the illegal wildlife product. The subjects apprehended in the operation are identified as Rajesh Nayak and Gangadhar Naik, both residents of the Nayagarh district.

Police have confirmed that the seized leopard skin will undergo a biological analysis at the Wildlife Institute of India in Dehradun to confirm its authenticity and origin.
