Tragedy Strikes: CRPF Jawan Shot Dead in Sonipat

A CRPF jawan named Krishan was tragically shot dead in Haryana's Sonipat district on Monday morning, according to the police. The alleged assailants, two youths on a two-wheeler, reportedly had a previous altercation with the jawan during the Kanwar Yatra.
Krishan, aged around 30, was on leave at the time of the incident. The suspects opened fire as he was returning home in the early hours of Monday, and they quickly fled the scene thereafter.
Inspector Lal Singh, SHO Sadar, Gohana, confirmed over the phone that Krishan succumbed to his injuries, and his body has been sent for a postmortem examination. Authorities have registered a case and are actively investigating the matter, having already identified the suspects involved. Krishan is survived by his wife and a child, adding to the gravity of the loss.
