In a deadly escalation of violence, Russian glide bombs and missiles ravaged regions in Ukraine overnight, killing at least 21 people, including 17 inmates at a prison, and injuring many more, according to Ukrainian officials on Tuesday.
This comes as U.S. President Donald Trump's warnings to Russia to halt its attacks went unheeded. Trump's ultimatum to President Putin called for progress towards peace within ten to twelve days, or face sanctions. However, Russia's tactics remain unchanged, drawing stern rebukes from the U.S. president.
