Andhra Pradesh to Hold Elections for Local Bodies in August

The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission has set the dates for crucial local body elections, with polling for MPTC, ZPTC, and Gram Panchayats slated for August 10 and 12.

GV Sai Prasad, the APSEC Secretary, revealed the schedule in an official notification. Nominations for the elections open on July 30 and close on August 1, with scrutiny on August 2.

The Commission has enforced the Model Code of Conduct from July 28 in the notified areas.
