Controversy Erupts After Maulana Rashidi Slapped Post-Debate Incident

Maulana Sajid Rashidi has sparked a controversy after allegedly making derogatory remarks about Dimple Yadav, a Mainpuri MP, during a recent mosque visit. His comments led to physical retaliation from youths claiming to be Samajwadi Party members.

Rashidi, who attended a debate program in Noida, was slapped by the group, one of whose members, Kuldeep Bhati, shared the incident on social media. Bhati, asserting his position as the state secretary of Yuvjan Sabha, Samajwadi Party, warned against disrespecting women in India.

The police have registered a complaint from Rashidi against Kuldeep Bhati, Mohit Nagar, and Shyam Singh, and are actively investigating the matter.
