Police intensified their efforts on Wednesday to apprehend three murder suspects by initiating proclamation proceedings. The suspects are linked to the broad daylight murder of Sumit Jandiyal, a notorious gang leader, at Jewel Chowk on January 21.
As part of the legal measures, notices were prominently posted on the residences of Vikas Slathia, alias Vicky Khauff, shooter Vikramjeet Singh, and Bodh Raj, alias Guggi. The police executed public proclamations, involving drum beats and neighborhood announcements, urging the absconders to report to the authorities.
Jammu Police have committed to securing the suspects and have implored the public to aid in their capture, promising legal action against those who might harbor them. This move comes after ten other accused were detained earlier, facilitating the recovery of arms and other evidence.
