The victim, Sadhana Singh, was a fashion design student from Faridabad, Haryana, who frequently visited her partner in Narela. On the day of the incident, an argument began when she learned that his parents had been arranging his marriage.

Police have registered a murder case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused, Deepak, is currently under interrogation as further investigations continue. The victim's body showed signs of physical trauma, and a post-mortem is pending to determine the cause of death.
