Encroachment Drive Tragedy: A Family and Community in Mourning

A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh as 25-year-old commission agent Chetram Saini, supposedly a BJP activist, was found dead, allegedly taking his life after his shop was razed during an anti-encroachment drive at the Mandi Samiti premises.

According to authorities, Saini, from Kundanpur in the Majhola area, was discovered injured on Tuesday night. He succumbed to his injuries despite being rushed to a hospital. Initial investigations suggest that Saini jumped from a building in distress after the demolition.

In response, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak visited the grieving family, assuring thorough investigation and accountability. Allegations have surfaced regarding lawlessness during the encroachment operation, drawing attention from political figures seeking justice for the affected family.
