A daring daylight rescue unfolded after an 11-year-old girl was abducted from Ranchi while en route to her school on Wednesday. The swift response by law enforcement led to the girl's recovery in neighboring Ramgarh district within hours.
Officials reported the involvement of multiple suspects in the abduction, with arrests made in under 12 hours. The young victim was initially whisked away from the Siramtoli area of Chutia before her captors abandoned her near the Kuju police station.
With a massive deployment of police across 10 districts, the pressure forced the abductors to flee. Arrested individuals include a gym trainer and a minor; their plot was rooted in a ransom demand, intended to clear outstanding debt.
