The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has made a significant breakthrough in its ongoing efforts against drug trafficking, seizing 400 kg of hydroponic ganja at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
According to an official release from the NCB, the contraband, valued at Rs 40 crore, was found in the luggage of a female passenger on Wednesday.
NCB officials acted on intelligence to intercept the woman, who procured the drugs from Bangkok and took a detour via Dubai to evade suspicion. Investigations are focused on establishing her networks in Thailand and India.
