Empowering the Grassroots: Panchayati Raj Revamp in Arunachal Pradesh

In a recent review meeting, Arunachal Pradesh's Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ojing Tasing, highlighted the crucial role of Panchayati Raj Institutions in fostering participatory democracy. The meeting took place in the Siang district.

Tasing evaluated the implementation of various government schemes and assessed the grassroots performance of his department. He stressed the need for transparency in fund utilization and urged active involvement of local bodies.

Underlining the guidance of national leaders, Tasing committed to transforming gram panchayats into beacons of accountability and self-reliance, bringing governance to the smallest communities with dignity and equity.
