Bihar's Sheohar MLA Chetan Anand has alleged misbehavior by AIIMS Patna staff during a recent visit to the hospital with his wife. The couple reportedly faced harassment while visiting a supporter admitted to the facility.
Anand, formerly of the RJD and now a JD(U) legislator, recounted the incident, claiming he was prevented from entering with his security personnel, prompting intervention from his wife. Subsequently, staff allegedly mistreated his wife, resulting in injuries to her wrist and back.
Following the altercation, the MLA and his wife filed a complaint at the local police station. Patna City SP (West) Bhanu Pratap Singh confirmed that complaints from both the MLA and AIIMS administration have been registered and investigations are underway.
