In a disturbing incident in Golaghat district, Assam, two youths were allegedly attacked by a mob led by three brothers, including a local BJP leader and an All Assam Students' Union member, police confirmed.
The incident, occurring in Sarupathar's Gelabil area, involved brutal assault and inhumane actions against the youths, sparking outrage on social media after a video went viral.
The police have launched a search for the main suspects, Raju, Shasanka, and Ranjit Shreshtha, as investigations continue, following condemnation from Assam's Chief Minister and organizational actions against the accused.
