Tragic Discovery: Minor Girl Found Dead in Odisha Forest

The body of a missing minor girl was discovered hanging from a tree in a forest near Lulkidihi village, Sundargarh district, Odisha, early Sunday morning. The police identified the location with the help of sniffer dogs.

The girl had been missing since Friday afternoon after failing to return home from grazing cows and goats. Her father alerted local authorities, prompting a search operation over the weekend.

Two men have been detained for questioning. They were last seen with the girl, and one is believed to have contacted her via social media. Police are awaiting a post-mortem report to determine the cause of death.
