In a critical safety operation, ten country-made bombs recovered last year in Delhi's Holambi Kalan have been successfully disposed of by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and the National Security Guard (NSG), an official confirmed on Monday.

The explosives, linked to an ongoing investigation under section 286 of the Indian Penal Code and the Explosive Substances Act, were buried at a designated site after their recovery, awaiting safe disposal. Following a formal request, teams from NSG, BDS outer-north police, and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) Rohini arrived to safely neutralize the threat.

Adhering to established safety protocols, the BDS and NSG teams meticulously carried out the disposal, ensuring no mishaps occurred. The successful operation underscores the ongoing efforts to ensure public safety, with further investigations in the case still in progress.
