Dark Secrets Unearthed: Dharmasthala's Mass Burial Mystery

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) revisited a dense forest area near Dharmasthala on Wednesday, intensifying the investigation into an alleged mass burial case. The anonymous complainant, a former sanitation worker who initiated the case, guided them to a new inspection site.

Sources indicated the site, known as 'Spot 11A', is near where skeletal remains were previously found. Heavy equipment and workers have been mobilized as the SIT considers this a critical point in their investigation. Forensic teams will conduct thorough surveys as SIT officials maintain a silent watch over developments.

The complainant, who alleges he buried multiple bodies, some showing signs of sexual assault, between 1995 and 2014, has given a statement to the magistrate. Formed by the state government, the SIT is probing claims of mass murder, sexual violence, and cover-up burials in the region over the last two decades, with multiple teams working on-ground to follow new leads.
