A Nepalese woman has come forward with allegations of sexual assault against a bus driver near Patna airport, authorities revealed on Wednesday. The complaint was filed at the local Airport police station, according to law enforcement.
The woman recounted the harrowing incident, claiming that the bus driver assaulted her near the Bihar Military Police office on Monday night. She stated that the driver managed to escape with the vehicle following the alleged assault, reported Patna (Central) SP Diksha to PTI.
The precise circumstances of the alleged crime, whether it occurred inside the bus or outside, remain unclear as further investigations are underway. Police have launched a search operation to apprehend the suspect as medical examinations on the victim continue.
