The Samajwadi Party has extended financial assistance, releasing Rs 6 lakh to support the families devastated by two separate road accidents, including a tragic crash on August 3 that claimed 12 lives, including women and children, in the district.

In a significant measure, the party allocated Rs 5 lakh for those affected by the August 3 incident, where an SUV filled with pilgrims plunged into a canal, resulting in fatalities and injuries. Party leader Suraj Singh reported that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav approved Rs 1 lakh each for the heads of five bereaved families.

Additionally, the SP sanctioned Rs 25,000 each to families of four victims from a previous accident. At a local event, SP district president Arshad Hussain reaffirmed the party's commitment to public welfare. Concurrently, Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Adityanath also pledged financial aid, promising swift delivery.
