Three police officers sustained injuries following a shooting incident in Tremonton, a northern city in Utah. The local law enforcement confirmed the arrest of a male suspect.
The officers had responded late Sunday to a disturbance call in a neighborhood when they encountered gunfire upon arrival. Officer Crystal Beck from Brigham City reported that they requested reinforcements but subsequently lost radio contact.
Additional units were dispatched, successfully locating and apprehending the suspect. Officer Beck couldn't disclose the suspect's name, but highlighted that there is no present danger to the public. Tremonton is situated approximately 121 kilometers north of Salt Lake City.
