The Delhi administration is set to unveil 500 new creches named 'Palna' on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday. These facilities aim to provide childcare support for children of women laborers, announced Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday.
Speaking at the Delhi Secretariat after a Vishwakarma Puja ritual, Gupta commended the invaluable role of workers in the nation's progress. She emphasized that no state's development is possible without the diligent efforts of its labor force.
During its six-month tenure, the BJP government has rolled out several welfare schemes, including the Ayushman Bharat health initiative and Arogya Mandir clinics, which are designed to benefit underprivileged sections of society.
