In a tense climate of international drone activity, Polish authorities apprehended two individuals for piloting a drone over the highly secure Belvedere presidential palace in Warsaw.
The suspects, identified as a young Belarusian woman and a Ukrainian man, were initially mistaken for Belarusian nationals, according to a social media post by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
As Russia's recent drone activities heighten regional tensions, the State Protection Services clarified that this incident is unrelated to espionage, with investigations still ongoing.
