Tragic Shooting: Principal Killed, Teacher Injured in Robbery Attempt
A 57-year-old school principal was fatally shot and a woman teacher injured during an attempted robbery by three motorcycle-riding assailants in Deoria district. The principal's gold chain was snatched, and both victims were attacked when they resisted. Police have formed teams to investigate the incident.

In a tragic turn of events, a principal of a government school lost his life and a woman teacher was wounded during a brazen robbery attempt. The principal, Devendra Yadav, was on his way back with assistant teacher Kanchan Singh when three assailants targeted them near Sahunpur village.
The criminals on motorcycles attempted to snatch Yadav's gold chain and opened fire when he resisted. Yadav and Singh were quickly whisked away to the hospital, but Yadav succumbed to his injuries before reaching the final medical facility in Varanasi.
Authorities have launched an investigation with police Superintendent Omveer Singh confirming the formation of four teams to pursue the suspects. The use of surveillance tactics, including CCTV footage, is underway to identify those responsible for this heinous act.
