Iran Executes Spy Amid Shadow War with Israel
Iran has executed Babak Shahbazi, accused of spying for Israel. The execution is part of a series of death sentences imposed on individuals linked to Israel's Mossad. Shahbazi, working as a contractor, allegedly collected sensitive data. An appeal to the Supreme Court was dismissed.

In a continuation of its covert conflict with Israel, Iran executed a man named Babak Shahbazi who was accused of conducting espionage for Israel, as reported by state media on Wednesday.
The execution marks yet another case in a series where Iran has imposed death sentences on individuals accused of collaborating with Israel's Mossad intelligence agency. This year alone has seen a significant rise, with at least nine executions.
Shahbazi, a contractor for installing cooling devices, was alleged to have been gathering information from critical sites including server rooms and locations linked to military sectors. Despite an appeal to the Supreme Court, the decision was upheld, and his execution proceeded.
