In a tragic turn of events, the bodies of two young schoolgirls were discovered in a well in Jharkhand's Giridih district. The police identified the deceased as Zahida Khatoon, 13, and Gulabsha Praveen, 14, both of whom were students at Upgraded High School Chiruwa-Kapilo.
According to Bagodar Sariya SDPO Dhananjay Ram, the girls arrived late to school on Thursday and were instructed by a teacher to return home with their guardians. The two left the school premises but were later found deceased, sending shockwaves through the community.
No formal complaints have been lodged by the affected families as of yet. However, the authorities have assured that a thorough investigation will follow once a complaint is filed, raising questions about safety and school protocols in the area.
