Capture of Fugitive Murder Suspects in Odisha

In a significant breakthrough, Odisha police have arrested seven individuals who had been on the run following the alleged murder of a villager in Kendrapara district. The crime, rooted in past enmity, occurred on January 29, 2023, at Madhyapada village.

According to police reports, the suspects fled the scene immediately after killing Bipin Jena. However, persistent investigative efforts led to a tip-off that culminated in their arrest from a nearby hideout.

Following the apprehension, the accused were presented in a local court where their bail applications were denied, leading to their placement in judicial custody as the investigation continues.
