Unveiling the Job Scam Scheme in Jammu and Kashmir

In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Police's Crime Branch has filed a chargesheet against a woman and her two accomplices. The trio is accused of orchestrating a major job scam, duping numerous individuals by promising government jobs within the Union Territory.
The accused allegedly collected substantial sums of money from ten victims, fraudulently promising them employment. They reportedly issued fake government job appointment orders to unsuspecting youth, further escalating the crime's severity. The chargesheet has been submitted to the Railway Magistrate's court in Jammu.
The case, initially registered in 2024, originated from a complaint by Bubal Kumar from Kot Bhalwal, who claimed he was defrauded of Rs 50 lakh, believing his sons would secure government jobs. Another complaint has been lodged citing another Rs 1.27 crore scam. Investigations, led by Senior Superintendent of Police, Benam Tosh, continue as the judicial process unfolds.
