A World Trade Organization panel delivered a ruling on Thursday, finding that the European Union violated certain WTO rules in its handling of anti-dumping tariffs on Indonesian stainless steel.
Indonesia initiated the dispute in 2023, claiming the EU's tariffs greatly diminished its steel exports.
The WTO panel has urged the European Union to adjust its measures in accordance with the agreement concerning subsidies and countervailing measures.
