Forensic Reports Clear Eight Accused in Pune Drug Party Case
Blood reports from the forensic science laboratory have revealed that none of the accused in the Pune drug party case, including former minister Eknath Khadse's son-in-law, had consumed drugs. Despite the negative reports, charges of possession are upheld as the raid provided substantial evidence of contraband presence.

In a significant development regarding the Pune 'drug party' case, blood reports from the forensic science laboratory (FSL) have shown that none of the seven accused, including Dr. Pranjal Khewalkar, the son-in-law of a former Maharashtra minister, tested positive for drug consumption. The reports, released on Thursday, disprove initial claims by the police.
The arrests occurred after the Pune Crime Branch raided a studio apartment in the Kharadi area on July 27th. Though various substances resembling cocaine and ganja, along with hookah equipment and alcoholic beverages, were confiscated, the FSL results have confirmed no drugs were ingested by the suspects.
Despite the absence of drugs in the blood samples, authorities are proceeding with charges based on possession. A senior Crime Branch official cited evidence of premeditated possession and indicated that the raid's timing, just as the gathering commenced, led to the negative blood results.
