Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday lauded former union power secretary VS Sampath for his pivotal role in shaping power sector reforms during his two-day campaign for the NDA in Tamil Nadu.

During a press conference, Naidu highlighted Tamil Nadu's impressive Dravidian roots and administrative excellence, emphasizing the state's contribution to India's bureaucratic landscape.

Naidu particularly praised Tamil Nadu for producing many influential IAS officers, referencing his own experience with Rajaji and VS Sampath, the latter of whom later served as the chief election commissioner and oversaw the critical 2014 general elections.
