Escalating Tensions: Israeli Strikes and Gaza's Struggle for Peace

An Israeli airstrike on Friday killed at least three people in Gaza, including two police officers, according to Palestinian health officials.

The attack occurred in Gaza City near a police-guarded bank. Israel confirmed targeting Hamas militants in the area, intensifying attacks on Gaza's Hamas-controlled police force.

Despite a ceasefire brokered in October 2025, violence persists. Over 790 Palestinians and four Israeli soldiers have died since then. The conflict, largely affecting civilians, has seen more than 72,000 Gazans killed since October 2023.
