The incident occurred in the Noorkot-Degwar region, located ahead of the border fencing. The victim, Mohammad Rizwan, six, suffered multiple injuries.

After initial treatment in Poonch, Rizwan was relocated to Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Jammu. Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the blast.
