Tragedy Strikes on Hajipur Highway: Patrol Vehicle Collision

In a tragic incident on Hajipur highway, a speeding truck collided with a stationary police patrol vehicle early Thursday morning, resulting in the death of Constable Pawan Yadav and injuring three other officers.

The unfortunate event unfolded around 3 am, involving a mobile patrol team led by Sub-Inspector Vinod Singh with constables Pritam Yadav, Om Prakash, and the late Pawan Yadav.

After the collision, the injured officers were initially rushed to a community health center before being shifted to the district hospital. The truck driver fled the scene, prompting authorities to register a case and initiate efforts to apprehend the suspect, according to Superintendent of Police Kamlesh Bahadur.
