On Tuesday, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik (Retd) emphasized the importance of adhering to project timelines and leveraging technology for efficient governance. During a meeting with Chief Minister Pema Khandu, the governor advocated for the use of geospatial tools and artificial intelligence to ensure data-driven development and real-time project monitoring.
The governor also urged the promotion of social initiatives, including support for amateur photo clubs and NGOs, while mapping orphanages across the state. Conversations on security stressed the necessity of early border fencing implementation in the Tirap–Changlang–Longding districts to bolster national security and citizen confidence.
Additionally, the meeting covered social development topics like youth empowerment, tourism, sports, and cleanliness drives. A special focus was placed on monsoon preparedness, with reviews conducted on the state's development progress and ongoing projects.
