A day after gelatin sticks were found near the venue of PM Narendra Modi's event, India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched a probe into the incident. A senior police official confirmed that no arrests have been made.
Authorities are examining CCTV footage to identify any suspects and uncover the motive behind placing the gelatin sticks. A special investigation team, involving nearly 50 personnel, has been tasked with this matter.
The explosive discovery occurred near Kaggalipura, close to Modi's scheduled route, and has prompted increased security and scrutiny. The incident coincided with Modi's attendance at the Art of Living Foundation's 45th Foundation Day in Bengaluru.
