Union Home Minister Amit Shah has revealed a strategic partnership between India's anti-cyber crime agency, I4C, and the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) to tackle the growing issue of mule accounts. Announcing the initiative on Tuesday, Shah emphasized the significance of this development in the fight against cybercrime.
Mule accounts pose major challenges as they are utilized by cybercriminals to funnel illegal funds. Under the new MoU, artificial intelligence will be deployed to identify and mitigate these accounts through data analysis, enhancing the nation's resilience against such fraudulent activities.
The AI-driven collaboration between I4C and RBIH aims to serve as a robust shield, protecting citizens from becoming unwitting victims of cyber scams while fortifying cybercrime prevention measures across the country, as stated in Amit Shah's recent message on social media platform X.
