A recent social media post, allegedly connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, reported a firing incident at the residence of Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh's manager in Karnal, Haryana. However, the police confirmed that they received no complaint from the manager, Gurpartap Singh Kang, or his family.

The police team, during their preliminary investigation, visited Kang's village, Gonder, and found no evidence at the scene. Associates of Bishnoi, namely Tyson Bishnoi, Arzoo Bishnoi, and Hari Boxer, supposedly claimed responsibility for the firing incident in a social media post.

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema claims the BJP had earlier asked Dosanjh to join the party, and after his refusal, an attack allegedly followed, orchestrated by the Bishnoi gang. Cheema criticized the BJP for allegedly using gangsters to intimidate public figures and obstructing justice in Bishnoi's case.
