In a significant breakthrough, Gurugram police apprehended a web designer for his involvement in selling fake concert tickets for Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. Identified as Priyanshu Kushwah, the accused allegedly developed a counterfeit Zomato website to dupe fans.

The revelation came after Zomato reported fraudulent activities on September 17, 2024. Further investigations led to Kushwah's arrest after police nabbed two accomplices, Nitin and Vishnu.

The scam not only affected concert attendees financially but also tarnished Zomato's reputation, as they were the official ticketing partner. Police are continuing their probe into the incident.
