In Memory of Justice: Ratna Debnath's Legislative Journey

BJP MLA Ratna Debnath from the Panihati Assembly constituency has vowed to continue her fight for justice following the tragic death of her daughter. Her daughter was raped and murdered on August 9, 2024, at her workplace.

Debnath's recent swearing-in marks a significant step in her campaign for justice. Speaking candidly about her transformative journey, she expressed her resolve to ensure that the culprits face the harshest punishment and that women across West Bengal feel secure.

Besides her personal quest for justice, Debnath has also committed to addressing civic issues in Panihati. Debnath won her constituency with a margin of 28,836 votes, highlighting strong public support.
